This approach aimed to increase the Average Order Value by offering a step-by-step routine based on trusted ingredients. Research confirmed this would provide users with the flexibility they desired for a more personalized experience.

Based on Anita’s journey, I hypothesized that the Curated Beauty Box would offer pre-selected products for users who are unsure about their skin type or suitable ingredients. The aim was to provide easy, quick purchases by offering bundled products, thus increasing average order value (AOV). However, this approach lacks personalization, which could lead to higher drop-offs if users don’t like the suggested products.
